The Studio

When you live in the Great Pacific Northwest and you have a string of wonderful, sunny days, the outdoors starts shouting your name the minute your feet hit the floor in the morning. When you have a hobby that is more of a passion than a past time and you can’t live without  a morning coffee  (or 2 or 3), it is time to fill up and go to the outdoor studio!

So it was at 8:00 AM this morning as my husband the bird photographer

and I the knitter

gathered our gear on the patio to knit, click and sip! Ah, retirement doesn’t get much better than this!

      1. We are the opposite. Most nights it is at least 3 am when we go to bed, a habit that formed years ago when I decided it was easier to stay up really late than get up in the middle of the night to feed babies. The only time I see 5 or 6 am is if I haven’t been to bed yet. My kids are just as bad. One once asked what a sunrise was! LOL!
