POWR* rode again yesterday. We had planned to do about 18 miles, from Pat’s house to Mern’s under-construction house and out through the flat country-side around the berry fields and dairy farms. But 7 miles into the ride, a chain jumped its sprocket, interrupted the ride and derailed our plans!
At least there was a wide spot to pull over,
…and a pleasant view while waiting to be rescued! Next time POWR* rides again, I’m putting my knitting project bag into my basket…just in case I have some wait time!!

Yep! My knight in shining armor rode in on his black Explorer and saved the day so Pat and I could enjoy lunch at the 544 Diner! What a guy! Thanks, Honey.
